Pic of Prof. Krupanidhi formerly with Biosciences dept., Sai university, with Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba

Given below are the contents of my recent Facebook post, https://www.facebook.com/ravi.s.iyer.7/posts/1987898911426676.

Bhagawan's words about Rama avatar and the people who played key roles in Rama Avatar, are, of course, wonderful, instructive and inspiring. However, I am sharing this post for the additional reason that it has a pic of one former senior faculty of the Sai university (Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning) whose contributions to the Sai university over nearly three decades, I believe, were not recognized properly, in the chaos, confusion and trauma of the immediate post-Mahasamadhi period. He parted ways with the Sai university sometime in 2012, if I recall correctly.

The person behind Swami and to Swami's left in the pic is Prof. Krupanidhi, former Head of Biosciences dept. and former Dean of sciences of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. At least during my free service stint in the Sai university with designations of Honorary Staff, Honorary Faculty and Visiting Faculty from Jan. 2003 to March 2012, I found Prof. Krupanidhi to be very devoted and dedicated to Bhagavan and his work in the Sai university. He was also polite and friendly to interact with. In my humble opinion, Prof. Krupanidhi was a great asset to the Sai university.

I think that the Biosciences dept was in charge of some of the animal pets of Swami - deer, peacock etc. Perhaps that's why we have a relatively young Prof. Krupanidhi in this photo along with Bhagawan and a baby deer.

"CHINNA KATA" By BHAGAVAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA.
Steadfastness and Deep Faith win the Grace of God
When you have filled your heart with sympathy for the distressed, the Lord will shower His grace. Draupadî [daughter of king Drupada and wife of the Pândavas] had earned the grace through her devotion and virtues. Sîtâ, too, stuck to the highest ideal for life, in spite of the severe sufferings she underwent. Hanumân, who discovered her in the grove [see RRV-5] where she was kept as a prisoner by her abductor Râvana, offered to recross the ocean with her on his shoulders and take her safe to her Lord Râma. But, she replied that she will not allow herself to be abducted back from the custody of Râvana, since that will deprive Râma of the chance to punish him for his crime and retrieve her through his own heroism! Splendid words these! Quite in consonance with the dictates of dharma! No wonder, the Lord's Grace saved her in good time! If you have no steadfastness and no depth of faith, you can have no Grace.

A senior faculty in Sai university (SSSIHL) who used to sit in Teachers block during darshan which is where Prof. Krupanidhi also would be seated (prior to Bhagavan Mahasamadhi days), wrote over mail (and was OK with this sharing):

Thanks very much, Prof Iyer!

Swami was very fond of Prof Krupanidhi.

I (Ravi) responded (edited):

Sairam sir,

Once again you have referred to me as Prof. Iyer :-). I am NOT an academic (I am a retired international software industry guy who offered free service as Honorary Staff, Honorary Faculty and Visiting Faculty to Sai university from Jan. 2003 to Mar. 2012). By the kind grace of the Lord, I am a plain and undoctored Iyer :-).

[I also thanked him for his OK to publicly share his response (anonymously).]
