Interesting short messages from Sadhguru Vasudev. I was intrigued by the statement that he was a slave for another spiritual master (perhaps his sadhguru) for 3 lifetimes when this master would touch him only with his stick!

I want to know more about his life as he is a contemporary and his wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaggi_Vasudev, tells me that, in his early life, he was in the same milieu of middle class educated Indians that I was in, in the first 40 years of my life - my Mumbai/Dombivli years with some foreign assignment trips. Sadhguru was born in 1957 (I was born in 1962). Sadhguru's father was an ophthalmologist with Indian Railways. My father too worked for Indian Railways (retiring as Accounts Officer). So I think I will be able to relate to some parts of his early life, quite well. Of course, he later became, and still is, a famous spiritual master whereas I am still a struggling spiritual aspirant ☹️😃, so the later part of his story will be different.
His book -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inner_Engineering:_A_Yogi%27s_Guide_to_Joy - is reported to have "a brief autobiographical account of Sadhguru's life, the primary focus of which is to recount the spiritual experiences of the writer which later paved the path of his life". The paperback version of the book is priced low at Rs. 178 , https://www.amazon.in/Inner-Engineering-Yogis-Guide-Joy/dp/0143428845 . I like that as it shows that he is more interested in sharing his life story and spiritual messages via this book rather than making big money from the book. I have added this book to my shopping cart on amazon.in (Rs. 499 or above order qualifies for free delivery and so I will wait till I qualify for that before placing the order🙂).

My humble take is that such bhajans are aradhana i.e. worship of God. So they can shower a lot of devotional joy on the listeners if they hear it with devotion to God. I certainly had a lot of devotional joy listening to this song. Thanks to --name-snipped-- for sharing.
