When they betray God, will they spare ordinary people? Haunting oldie Hindi film song apt for sometimes tragic days in Sathya Sai movement

Today I heard these lines of an oldie haunting Hindi film song, sung by a guy in an eatery in outside ashram Puttaparthi:

"Detein hain Bhagavan ko Dhokha Insaan ko kya chodenge?
Kasme vade pyar wafa sab batein hain batoon ka kya?
Koi kisi ka nahi yeh jhoote natein hain natoon ka kya?"

which I translate to:
(They) betray God, (will they then) spare (ordinary) people?
Promises, love, faith (to loved one) are all talk, what is (the value of) talk?
Nobody is anybody's (kin), these are false relationships, what is (the value of) relationships?
-----

Ravi: I felt these lines to be quite appropriate for these confused and sometimes tragic days in the post-Mahasamadhi Sathya Sai movement.

Here's the video of the song, sung by Manna Dey, written by Indeevar, from the film Upkar (1967), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX7hFKjm_n4, 5 min. 37 secs.

Here's another video which has the scenes in the movie prior to this song followed by the song at around 5 mins into the video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dcWw6mIWn4, 10 min 6 secs.

The lyrics of the song with my attempt at English translation of them are given below:

Kasme vade pyar wafa sab batein hain batoon ka kya?
[Promises, love, faith (to loved one) are all talk, what is (the value of) talk?]
Koi kisi ka nahi yeh jhoote natein hain natoon ka kya?
[Nobody is anybody's (kin), these are false relationships, what is (the value of) relationships?]

Hoga Masseha saamne tere phir bhi na tu bach payega
[The saviour (messiah) will be in front of you, still you will not get saved]
Tera apna khoon hi aakhir tujko aag lagayega
[Your own blood will finally set fire to you (reference to Hindu practice of kin of a dead person lighting his/her funeral pyre)]
Aasmaan mein udnewale mitti me mel jayega
[(They) who fly in the skies will get mixed with the soil]

Kasme vade pyar wafa sab batein hain batoon ka kya?
Koi kisi ka nahi yeh jhoote natein hain natoon ka kya?

Sukh mein tere saath chalenge dukh mein sab mukh moodenge
[(They) will walk with you in happiness, in sorrow (they) all will turn their faces (away)]
Duniyawale tere bankar tera hi dil todenge
[People of the world having become yours (your kin), will break your own heart]
Detein hain Bhagavan ko Dhokha Insaan ko kya chodenge?
[(They) betray God, (will they then) spare (ordinary) people?]
Kasme vade pyar wafa sab batein hain batoon ka kya?
Koi kisi ka nahi yeh jhoote natein hain natoon ka kya?

Kaam agar yein Hindu ka hain, mandir kisne loota hain?
[If this is the work of a Hindu, who has looted the temple?]
Muslim ka hain kaam agar  yein, khuda ka ghar kyun toota hain?
[If this work is that of a Muslim, why is the house of God (mosque) broken?]
Jis mazhab mein jayaz hain yein, wo mazhab to jhoota hain
[Which faith (religion) these (people) fit in (belong to), that faith (religion) is false.]

Kasme vade pyar wafa sab batein hain batoon ka kya?
Koi kisi ka nahi yeh jhoote natein hain natoon ka kya?
