Very nice handover ceremony of head position of Chinmaya mission from Swami Tejomayananda to Swami Swaroopananda in 2017
From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinmaya_Mission : "The Chinmaya Mission is a Hindu religious and spiritual organization engaged in the dissemination of Vedanta, the science of the self as expounded in the Vedas, particularly the Upanishads, and other Hindu scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita.[2][3] The Chinmaya Mission was established in India in 1953 by devotees of the renowned Vedanta teacher Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati from present-day Kerala, India.[4]
Administered by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust in Mumbai, India, the mission was later headed by Swami Tejomayananda and is now headed by Swami Swaroopananda. There are over 313 mission centres all over India and abroad. North America had more than 30 centres.[5]" [Wiki References for above quoted paragraphs:

Pujya Guruji's Handover Ceremony, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Bp0Mc690KU, 1 hr. 33 mins., streamed live on 19th Jan. 2017 by ChinmayaChannel.
It was very nice to see such a warm and loving handover of head position ceremony of a noted Hindu spiritual organization in India in 2017. I saw the main parts of the video including the initial welcoming of Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda, a short 'thanksgiving' video of/on Swami Tejomayananda (from around 21 mins to around 32 minutes in the video), immediately followed by Swami Tejomayananda's speech till around 47 min, immediately followed by Swami Swaroopananda coming on the stage and taking blessings of Swami Tejomayananda, and Swami Swaroopananda's speech till around 1 hr. 12 mins.
I was very impressed by the loving and full of devotion and missionary zeal speeches of both Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda. The event happened in Mumbai with the centre of the mission being based in Mumbai. I am so happy to see such an ideal succession ceremony for a noted Hindu spiritual orgn. based in Mumbai, my former home city.
