Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba (in Telugu):
"Naaku Meeku Direct Connection Untundaadhi. Mana sannihitha sambandha baandhavyam evvaroo thenchadaainiki veelu kaadhu. Meeru ekkadikainaa pondi. Akkada, ikkada, ekkada choochina okkade Sai makkuvaiyunnaadu.

E graamamu poyinaa koodanu, ekkada poyi meeru udyogam chesinaa mee ventane, intane, jantane untaanu. Aaa bhaavaanni maathram bhadhramgaa chesukondi. Naa ventane unnaadu ane bhaavaanni Dhrudham chesukondi. Meeru ekkadiki vellinaa mee needa vasthunnaadhi kadhaa. Kaabatti Nenu Mee needane.

Shadow? Not Shadow! Meelo unnatuvanti dhaanine nenu niroopisthunnaanu. Kanuka, I AM YOU. YOU ARE MINE. Ee renditi sambaandhaanni bhadramgaa penchukondi. "

English translation (seems to be done by Pardha Saradhi Uppala):
"There is Direct connection between you and me. No one can break the intimate relation and relationship that we two have. Go anywhere. Here, there, wherever you see, there is only ONE SAI that you love, everywhere.

Go to any village, go anywhere and take up a job, I will be with you, in you. Treasure this feeling alone. Strengthen the thought that Swami is by your side always. Your shadow follows you wherever you go, doesn't it? Therefore, I am your shadow!

Well, shadow? Not shadow. I am demonstrating what is within you. Therefore, I AM YOU AND YOU ARE MINE. Treasure the relation between these two."

Ravi: Given what Swami has said so clearly above and which can be verified by seeing the video where Swami reinforces the message with very expressive hand and facial gestures, is there any room for any doubt whatsoever that Kali Yuga Avatar, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba would UNEQUIVOCALLY CONDEMN claims of any so called communicator or medium that Bhagavan is speaking through them (after Mahasamadhi especially)? OF COURSE NOT. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR ANY DOUBT. Bhagavan would SURELY CONDEMN any such so called communicator or medium.

Dear Sai devotee friends, especially Sai university ALUMNI: Don't allow any so called communicator or medium to MAKE YOU FORGET that Swami has DECLARED and given a DIVINE ASSURANCE to ALL OF US, "There is Direct connection between you and me. No one can break the intimate relation and relationship that we two have". Why run after a so called communicator or a medium when what you have to do now, in this post-Mahasamadhi phase, is to pray deeply to SAI WITHIN and learn to "hear" HIM from WITHIN your own heart? Let us all make every effort to grow up spiritually and turn to the SAI WITHIN instead of going against Swami's teachings and instructions by running after so called communicators and mediums. Jai Sairam!

A Sai university alumnus wrote me that the year of the discourse was 2001 and the place was the Senior boys hostel quadrangle in Prasanthi Nilayam (Puttaparthi) campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Sai university).

I also felt it appropriate to share an edited version of his message, given below. Note that he was fine with public sharing of it.

Dear respected sir, pranams!
I too remember listening to this speech of our Bhagawan directly. It was in senior boys hostel quadrangle (in Prasanthi Nilayam Campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning) in 2001. I was in my UG and still clearly remember the day as I was the only boy who was not happy, Reason was: (I was not given) any special chance to go near Swami for taking His direct blessings.

Sir, in my I UG, I used to be very active in hostel service activities. I used to take care of hostel alter arrangements for suprabhatam prayer session, warden's office and and Institute alter for morning prayer sessions...I used to get up every day at 4:15 AM and used to take bath before going for decoration and lighting lamps work...I also used to give 21 bells to wake up all the hostel inmates at sharp 5 AM. I did this for 5 years sincerely and wholeheartedly to please my Bhagawan.
